Operation Good food & Beverages (OGF&B): A Black Community Imperative was designed to challenge the longstanding and unfavorable pattern of food marketing to Black communities.

This pro bono project was built from the ground up as a community-driven, youth-inspired food justice movement - utilizing key community organizations and influencers to amplify its mission and message across the country.

We explored initial directional feel and language during via Zoom with the HeartBeat teens group in Baltimore as co-creatives/focus group.

Final Direction

 

We introduced the initiative, via TikTok and Instagram

 

We were then tasked with inspiring the HeartBeat youth to create their own posts to share amongst their social network.

 
 

We also created an instagram page to further seed and amplify the activation.

4. Eventually, the program took wing as PR brought Operation Good Food and Beverages into the public realm.
